Shaogomphus postocularis epophthalmus (Selys, 1872) (= Gomphus epophthalmus

A continental subspecies of an East Palaearctic species Shaogomphus postocularis (Selys, 1869) ranging from Japan (where the nominotypical subspecies occurs) to the Ob' River. It seems to be rare everywhere in Siberia but on the Inya River flowing from Kemerovo Province to Novosibirsk, where is very abundant and prevails over Gomphids.
