A southern herbaceous and stony slope within the Tien Shan spruce (Picea schrenkiana Fisch. et Mey.) forest belt, at 2800 m altitude, on the right bank of the Chiliksay Stream - a right tributary of the Sargir River (the Usek River basin), 48 km N of Zharkent, 20 km N of village Sarybel', the mountain massif Tyshkantau, the Southern Dzhungarian Alatau mountain chain (NE part of Tien Shan), Zharkent District, Taldy-Kurgan Province, NE Kazakhstan. 31st of July 1994.
