Rhodiola coccinea (Royle) Boriss. (= Sedum coccineum Royle; ?= Rhodiola quadrifida (Pall.) Fisch. et Mey.) - grows in very highlands on rocks and large-stoned screes in Central Asia and Altai Mts., attaining the highest altitudes among the plants. In Siberia it is found always together with a similar species Rh. quadrifida, most probably they are forms of the same species.
