Parnassius nomion Fischer von Waldheim, 1823 - a close relative of the notorious Apollo (Parnassius apollo (Linnaeus, 1758) but, as different to it, it not protected as is usually abundant in its habitats.

Range: The mountains of South Siberia, southern Far East, Mongolia, N and NE China.

ssp.: korshunovi Kreuzberg et Pljushch, 1991; range: the Altai-Sayan Mt. System.
