The eastern counterpart of the western boreal Leucorrhinia dubia dubia (Van der Linden, 1825); ranges roughly east of Kemerovo Province;

A medium-sized mesotrophic lake with scarce Sparganium, Potamogeton poligonifolium, surrounded by peat-moss mire, with Drosera, Chamaedaphne, Betula divaricata, Comarum palustre; situated within the stone birch forest belt at the foot of the Vachkazhets Mt., Kamchatka, Russia, 53ø05'22'' N, 157ø52'43'' E, 500 m a. s. l., 24th July 2003
