Macromia amphigena Selys, 1871 fraenata Martin, 1906 (=Macromia sibirica Djakonov, 1926),
The species ranges in Japan (the nominotypical subspecies), Korea, NE China, the Russian Far East, and then after a gap in Central and West Siberia west to Novosibirsk, namely at the northwest foothills of the Altai-Sayan mountain system, penetrating also to E Kazakhstan and NW Mongolia.
