Coenagrion hylas (Trybom, 1889)

A boreal East Palaearctic species ranging as west as the Yenisei River and Altai but having an intriguing isolate in Bavaria.

Lake Ikar 8 km from Esso village, in ancient crater, mesotrophic, with peat moss quacking mires with Betula divaricata, Spiraea salicifolia, Comarum palustre, surrounded by Pinus pumila and larch taiga, the Sredinnyi Mountain Range, Kamchatka, Russia, 55ø52'16'' N, 158ø40'09'' E, 550 m., 19th July 2003.
