Aeshna crenata Hagen, 1856

A Palaearctic boreal species ranging west to Fennoscandia and Belorussia.

A female hanging above its ovipositing site.

A system of lakes at hill foot along the main road to Ust'-Kamchatsk in the Pravaya Kamchatka River basin, partly with peaty banks, alternating with birch and alder groves and willow thickets. 54œ04'20'' N, 157œ42'44'' E, 78 m a. s. l., Kamchatka, Russia, 21th July 2003.
