Melitaea sutschana Staudinger, 1892.

This species belongs to a group of almost vicariant species close to Melitaea didyma (Esper, 1779).

Range: S Transbaikalia, Amurland, NE China, Primorye, Korea, Sakhalin.

ssp.: sutschana Staudinger, 1892 - ?monotypical.

A female with aberrantly large basal black spots; wings closed.
