Mellicta athalia (Rottemburg, 1775) (= Melitaea athalia) - Heath Fritillary.
Range: The temperate Euroasia north to the middle taiga subzone; the eastern border uncertain.
ssp.: athalia (Rottemburg, 1775); range: Europe south to the Alps and north to S Scandinavia, Ural, the West Siberian Lowland.
A copulating pair; wings closed.

Ареал: Умеренная Евразия на север до средней тайги, восточная граница неясна.
