ssp: antiopa (Linnaeus, 1758); range: except for the Pacific islands.

A last instar larva.

An edge of a riparian poplar wood in the valley of the Shivilig- Khem River just leaving the mountains, the southern foot of the East Tannu-Ola mounatin range, Tes-Khem District, Tuva Republic, Siberia, Russia. 17th July 1990. O. Kosterin.
