Clossiana angarensis (Ershov, 1870) (=Boloria angarensis; = Argynnis angarensis).

Range: the forest-tundra and forest zones from Arkhangelsk Province to Chukotka, the mountains of Siberia, the Sakhalin.

ssp.: angarensis (Ershov, 1870); range: the Baikal region, Transbaikalia, Amurland.

A female, wings open.

An open larch (Larix gmelinii (Rupr.) Rupr.)/birch (Betula pendula Roth. and B. davurica Pallas) forest above the left bluff of the Budyumkan River valley 5 km of its confluence with the Argun' River 6 km S of the village Uryupino, Gazimurskozavodskoi District, E Chita Province, E Transbaikalia, Siberia, Russia. 2nd August 1997.
