The Kaa-Khem, or Small Enisei River at village Koktei, 20 km E of city Kyzyl, Tyva Republic (Tuva).
At Kyzyl the Kaa-Khem joins Bii-Khem, or Great Enisei, to produce the Ulug-Khem, or Enisei River, one of the greatest Siberian rivers.
This picture shows a typical to Tuva combination of a huge mass of crystal clear and cold running water and extremely dry barren mountains nearby.
Russia, Siberia, Tyva Republic, 51o44' N 94o42' E, alt. 1000 m, 30th July 2000. O. Kosterin.
