An impressive limestone mountain massif Kahyrakaan at the southern spurs of the Khorumnug-Taiga Mountain System, facing the northern Ubsu-Nur [Uvs-Nor] Hollow, or depression, which lies partly in the Tyva Republic within Russia, partly in Mongolia. It should not be confused with another and more popular Khayyrakaan Mt. at Shagonar town in Central Tuva.
