KORSHUNOV, YURIY PETROVICH, born in 1933, lives in Novosibirsk, collects and investigates butterfies of Siberia from the youth, a participant of numerous expeditions, a member of the International European Society of Lepidopterologists, the author of dozens of papers on fauna and systematics of the butterflies of Russia and the adjacent countries, a member of the stuff of Siberian Zoological Museum at the Institute of Systematics and Ecology of Animals (formerly - the Biological Institute) of the Siberian Division of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Novosibirsk).
